River City Extension

So my buddy Trevor Jones (http://www.facebook.com/trejones) introduced me to this band a couple months ago, but I never really listened to them until a few days ago. Friggin Amazing. Seriously, check these guys out. The entire album is ridiculous, but this song is my favorite:
And not to mention, the whole monochrome aspect of the video adds to pretty much everything.

March Fifth

Yesterday was on of the best days I've had in a really long time. I needed it. Got up early and headed up to the mountain solo for a while. Did a lot of shooting too. On the way up there, there were a bunch of paragliders!
Went boarding for a few hours, then made it down to the park. Plenty of talent out!
And to top the day off, Assault the Queen had their CD release party in Aviano! Too bad it's the last show they'll ever get to play...
All of these pics are either on my Flickr, or will be shortly.

The Tallest Man on Earth

If no-one's heard of Kristian Matsson, aka The Tallest Man on Earth, well, you've been missing out. He's a Swedish-born singer/songwriter who plays banjo, guitar, and piano, and also has quite the affinity as a lyricist. As in, he's rediculous. Check out this little show he played in a guitar shop in NYC for Take Away Shows:
Also, if you haven't heard of Take Away Shows, it's a video series started out by the French music blog "La Blogotheque". If you like good music, you'll definitely enjoy this one: http://www.blogotheque.net/-Concerts-a-emporter-?lang=en

Bonnaroo!!!

Photo for the day. A couple days ago, I was going through all of my pictures from Bonnaroo 2010 last summer, and stumbled upon this gem. I'm not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure we were waiting to see The Avett Brothers at the time.
The stuff:
Camera: 1977 Minolta XG-1
And that's all I know. Haha, way too busy at Bonnaroo to even try and record individual picture stats from a 35mm...

So...

This is going to hopefully be a place that I can do what I want with by just sharing relevant things that I enjoy. I'll go ahead and start the first post off with a band that I'm really into right now.
Great little band that I only had one song of before tonight called "Your Rocky Spine".  I'd heard it on my iPod at least ten times before today and also had seen the music video for it, so I just bought the entire album tonight, and it's amazing.
Enjoy!
